It was a simple thought: "What would happen if you put coffee from real cafes into coffee pods?"
It all started around August 2015.
Being a trio of business consultants in Melbourne, one could say that we're used to drinking our fair share of coffee to get us through the day.
It would almost become a competition as to who found the 'new' cafe, and being Melbourne, there's always a new one opening up just around the corner.
Whilst the lunchtime espresso was a staple, the after-hours energy fix at the office was we really needed to keep us going. We'd pop a pod into our Nespresso® machine, watch it do its thing, and a minute later we'd have our hit.
There was only one issue...
Why couldn't we have the coffee of our newly found favourite cafe?
Why couldn't we have the same sweet, dark, aromatic cup of caffeinated bliss that the bearded barista would so carefully make before our impatient eyes?
There was only one thing to do.
Establish a business, create partnerships with the best of Melbourne's roasters and put their glorious coffee into coffee pods for our own selfish gain. So, that's exactly what we did.
Now, we'd like to share them with you.
We want to bring you the best coffee our city has to offer right to your doorstep, and allow you to use what is already in your kitchen.
